Red River Station Inn
As soon as one walks through the double doors of The Red River Station Inn, it's very apparent that it is a truly unique boutique hotel. Located in Historic Downtown Nocona and steeped in Old West history, this town was once known as the leather capital of the southwest.
The owners of this special property have taken great care in renovating and operating this hotel at tip top shape, making their guests' stays as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Each room has its own distinctive theme named after famous local persons such as Quanah Parker, Amon Carter, HJ Justin, Enid Justin, Jessie Chisholm, Mose Johnson, Roberts Storey, Molly Love, Anthony Glass, as well as famous horses Joe Hancock and 3 Bars.
Upstairs and adjoining the bar and breakfast area is a beautiful French Quarters style balcony perfect for enjoying wine at sunset, coffee while watching the sunrise or watching the annual Mardi Gras Parade. Mardi Gras Nocona Style takes place every year downtown and always draws a crowd that fills the rooms of the Inn and the sidewalks of Downtown Nocona.
Downstairs, just behind the lobby is a manager or owner's room that has a full kitchen, a living area, full bath, and a bedroom. Also downstairs is a gift shop that could be used as an office and a back porch/patio.
Nocona is also known as the Classic Car Capital of Texas and brings in enthusiastic car lovers as well as many car clubs that consistently travel from the Dallas Fort Worth area for weekend rides on the beautiful back roads of Montague County.
Many events take place annually in Nocona and bring many visitors to town which help fill the hotel. Some of the events include Vicari Car Auction,
Mardi Gras Nocona Style and the very popular Nocona Nights Music Venue.
